택스리펀(Tax Refund)이란? (What is a Tax Refund?)

한국에서 판매되는 대부분의 상품 가격에는 부가가치세(VAT) 10%가 포함되어 있습니다. 외국인 관광객과 같은 비거주자가 일정 조건을 충족하면 출국 시 해당 세금의 일부를 환급받을 수 있으며, 이를 택스리펀(사후면세)이라고 합니다.

In Korea, the price of most goods includes a 10% Value Added Tax (VAT). Non-resident foreign visitors who meet certain conditions can receive a refund of this tax when departing Korea. This process is known as a Tax Refund (post-purchase duty-free refund).

If the purchased goods are packed in checked baggage, visit the customs declaration desk before checking in your luggage.

시내에서 선환급을 받은 경우 반드시 출국 시 공항에서 최종 확인 절차를 완료해야 합니다. 또한 선환급 후 21일 이내에 출국해야 합니다.

If you receive a downtown refund, you must complete the final verification process at the airport before departure.You must leave Korea within 21 days after receiving a downtown refund.

유인 현금 창구는 없으나, 즉시환급 가맹점과 무인 키오스크가 있습니다. 미래약국(종로5가)은 결제 시 세금을 바로 차감하는 즉시환급이 가능하고(1회 20만원 미만·1인 누계 100만원 이하), 더서울약국(종로구 종로 197)에는 무인 환급 키오스크가 있습니다.

No staffed cash counter, but there is an immediate-refund store and a self-service kiosk. Mirae Pharmacy (Jongno 5-ga) offers immediate refund with the tax deducted at payment (per purchase under KRW 200,000; up to KRW 1,000,000 per person in total). The Seoul Pharmacy (197 Jong-ro, Jongno-gu) has a self-service kiosk.

이 외에도 명동·강남·홍대·성수 일대의 다이소·올리브영·마트·약국 등에 무인 환급 키오스크가 다수 운영됩니다.

Many self-service refund kiosks also operate at Daiso, Olive Young, marts, and pharmacies across Myeongdong, Gangnam, Hongdae, and Seongsu.

6. 환급 방법 (Refund Methods)

다음과 같은 방법으로 환급받을 수 있습니다. 원화(KRW) 또는 달러(USD) 선택이 가능하며, 일부 키오스크에서는 즉시 현금 수령도 가능합니다.
